Secondary SEN Support Assistant

Start: ASAP / September 2025
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Salary: £101.92 - £120.40 per day.

Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Support Assistant to join a thriving Secondary school in the S20 area, to work on a long-term basis starting in the new academic year. You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving academic environment for their students. The role is full time, initially for 1 term, September – December 2025, with the possibility to be extended or become permanent.

What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Support pupils aged 11 - 16 consistently on a 1:1 basis whilst responding to their individual needs
• Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
• Deliver intervention/catch-up sessions where required

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people.
• SEND experience- Must be experienced with ASD and learning difficulties.
• Must have a passion for education
• Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
• Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
