Tradewind Education is recruiting for a motivated and adaptable Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Warrington. This exciting position involves providing 1:1 support to students across different year groups and subject areas.

• Position: Secondary Teaching Assistant

• Location: Warrington

• Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

• Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

• Salary: £89.94 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with varying needs across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons, supporting learning objectives and adapting activities to meet individual student needs

• Work across different year groups and subjects, offering flexible and proactive support

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

• Support with behaviour management, emotional well-being, and academic engagement

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential)

• Strong understanding of supporting students on a 1:1 basis

• Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and year groups

• Confident in building positive relationships with students and staff

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS

• Competitive daily rates paid weekly
