Secondary Teaching Assistant

Role OverviewAs a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support students across a range of subjects and abilities. You'll help create a positive and productive classroom atmosphere, offering both academic and emotional support.
Key Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons, both 1:1 and in small groups
• Assist with classroom management and lesson preparation
• Help implement learning strategies tailored to individual needs
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress

Requirements

• Experience working with young people (in education or youth settings)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential.
