Long Term Futures are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Waltham Forest to appoint a confident and adaptable Teaching Assistant for a September start.

The school is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and targeted support across all key stages, and is particularly focused on supporting students with SEN needs within mainstream classes. You'll be working with a dedicated team of teaching staff and SEN professionals to provide personalised support across a range of academic subjects.

This is a great opportunity for someone with secondary or upper KS2 experience looking to build a long-term role in an established and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and in-class support for students with SEN across KS3 and KS4
* Assist with the delivery of subject content across English, Maths, Science and Humanities
* Support behaviour, focus and engagement in lessons
* Work alongside the SENCo and teaching staff to track student progress
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Support small group intervention sessions when needed

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Previous experience supporting secondary-age students with SEN
* Understanding of learning support techniques and behaviour strategies
* A proactive and team-oriented approach
* Qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 2/3) are desirable
* Strong communication skills and a flexible, patient attitude
