Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: Worksop and surrounding area

Key Stages: KS3 - KS5
Working Hours: 8.30-15.30
Pay: 95-104£ per day
Position: day to day, short term, long term with possibility to become permanent

Your Role -
As a Secondary Teaching assistant, you will be tasked with the support of students in a Secondary School. Quite often you will be based in the Focus Provision with the school. Working with children with learning difficulties and need additional support. On the flip side some pupils may have more behavioural issues and will need more pastoral support to help them work through their problems and aid a productive working environment.

Requirements -
Ideally hold a relevant Qualification Level 2/3 TA Qual or be Degree Qualified
Experience working with young people in a role such as Sports Coach, Youth Mentor or Scout Leader or previous experience working in care setting with vulnerable young adults.
Be willing to undertake a DBS
Safeguarding Level 1 Qualification - we can provide this free of charge
