Security Architect (DV CLEARED)

We are seeking a Technical Security Architect to join our team, focusing on adding security considerations and controls to the design, development, and integration of network infrastructures. This role is crucial for ensuring the security integrity of our projects, working within an Agile Scrum framework and adhering to Secure by Design and NIST methodologies.

Contract Rate: £600 per day
Location: Basingstoke
Job Type: Contractor (On-site)
Contract Duration: ASAP until 31/12/2025

Clearance Required: DV Clearance active is mandatory

Day-to-day of the role:

• Work closely with infrastructure and service architects, integrators, and testers within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Serve as the security subject matter expert for all aspects of Scrum deliverables.
• Responsible for the delivery of key security enforcing capabilities into the platform.
• Design and document robust security solutions that meet project requirements.
• Present and defend security designs to peers and leadership effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Broad experience in network infrastructure design, development, and review, with a specific focus on security.
• Proven track record of designing and documenting security solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with the design and implementation of vulnerability scanning solutions.
• Adaptive ability to consider new innovations and technologies within compressed timeframes.
• Strong presentation skills to robustly defend security designs to both peer and leadership positions.
