SEMH Teaching Assistant

We're recruiting proactive and reliable SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistants in LS10 for full-time positions (8:30am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri). These roles support children with additional needs, including complex behaviour and personal care, and require people with patience, understanding, and spark.

Role includes:

• Supporting students with SEN or SEMH both in class and during interventions

• Assisting with behaviour regulation and classroom engagement

• Providing personal care when needed, with professionalism and care

• Working as part of a team to deliver pupil-centred learning support

• Being present, prepared and positive-every single day

Who we're looking for:

• Experience in education, psychology, youth work or health/care support

• Confident in managing challenging behaviour and maintaining boundaries

• Excellent communication skills and high levels of emotional intelligence

• Strong spoken and written English

• DBS on the update service (or ready to apply)
