SEMH Teaching Assistant

Dunbar Education is recruiting a committed and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in Dudley, starting September 2025.

In this rewarding role, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.

• Help children manage their emotions, build confidence, and develop positive relationships.

• Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other professionals to deliver tailored support.

• Implement behaviour strategies and promote a calm, nurturing environment.

• Experience working with children with SEMH, behaviour needs, or additional learning needs.

• A calm, patient, and positive approach.

• A passion for helping young learners overcome barriers to education.

• Strong communication and team-working skills.
