SEMH Teaching Assistant - Primary - Lewisham | September, Full-Time

Salary: £100-£120 per day (experience dependent) | Full-time, Term-time
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: September start

Are you a graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for supporting teenagers with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? This SEMH Teaching Assistant role at a well-regarded Lewisham Primary school offers a rewarding chance to make a real impact.

This is a full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant opportunity for someone seeking hands-on experience in a 'Good' school with a dedicated SEN provision. You'll join a committed support team working closely with students aged 4-11 who face SEMH challenges.   • Graduate with a 2:1 or above, ideally in Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Experience with SEMH issues in teens (youth work, mentoring, school roles etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and emotional resilience
  • A full-time commitment through to at least July 2026
