As a tutor/mentor you would be required to offer support to the student from a couple of hours to multiple sessions a week and be required to complete weekly feedback forms on the students progress, achievements, behaviour, and self-esteem/confidence.

Location: Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole
Position: Tutor
Subject: Core Subjects / Functional skills / life skills
Start date: September
Hours Between: 8:30am 4:00pm (depending on the child)

Experience, training and qualifications:

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
Previous experience working in a UK school or as a Tutor (desirable not essential)
Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (desired)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as, we can provide this)

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
