Semi-Skilled Electrician

Job Description:

· Assist in the Loading / Unloading and Movement of all equipment associated with Electrical Services.

· Carry out routine Testing and Inspection duties on a wide range of Distribution Equipment, Automatic Mains Failure Units, and Cable.

· Perform basic fault-finding duties on a range of distribution equipment.

· Inspect, test, and repair L.V. cable.

· Follow and adhere to current procedures controlling best practices for repair, testing, and inspection of equipment under the control of Client Electrical Services.

· Monitor and control the use of replacement parts within the in-house stock control system.

· Work independently or collaboratively on tasks with minimal supervision

You'll have the following skills and experience:

· An electrical background with relevant electrical experience.

· A broad knowledge of electrical-related legislation and policy.

· High attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate the correct use of L.V. test equipment.

· A basic understanding and ability to diagnose and identify faults on equipment ranging from 110 - 690 Volts A.C.

· Competency in following in-house stock control systems for booking, monitoring, and controlling parts.
