This is the ideal long-term role for a graduate seeking hands-on experience working with a diverse range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges.

You'll work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to support pupils' learning and wellbeing, developing tailored strategies and gaining invaluable insights into child development and psychology in practice.

The Role - SEN & Wellbeing Support Mentor
  • Full-time, term-time only role (September 2025 - July 2026)

  • Support pupils with mild-to-moderate SEN across KS1 and KS2

  • Deliver tailored academic and emotional interventions

  • Help pupils develop confidence, emotional regulation, and independent learning skills

  • Daily rate: £105-£110 depending on experience and qualifications

  • Based in a well-resourced, inclusive school with an exceptional SEN provision

Person Specification
  • Degree in Psychology or related discipline (2:1 or above preferred)

  • Passion for supporting children with additional needs

  • Patient, resilient, and compassionate - able to build trust and rapport

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Prior experience with children (in school, clinical, or voluntary settings) is highly desirable

  • Ideal for aspiring Educational or Clinical Psychologists, SEN Teachers, or Therapists

School Overview
  • Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' primary school in Greenwich

  • Inclusive and child-centred ethos - "Every child can achieve success"

  • Creative, supportive staff team with strong leadership and CPD

  • Purpose-built facilities to meet a wide range of SEN needs

  • Excellent transport links (Central, District, Overground)

If you're a Psychology graduate ready to take the next step toward a career in education, mental health, or SEN support, we'd love to hear from you.
