SEN Behaviour Support Assistant - Greenwich

Salary: £100-£120 per day | Term-time only | Full-time
Location: Greenwich, South East London
Start Date: September 2025

This full-time SEN Behaviour Support Assistant role at a warm and inclusive large secondary school in Greenwich offers a unique opportunity to support individual and whole-school pupil development from September 2025.

Split between dedicated 1:1 time with a child with Down's Syndrome and delivering wider behaviour support across the school, this dual-role suits someone passionate about SEN and behaviour mentoring. If you're a future teacher, SEN specialist, or behaviour mentor, this is ideal long-term experience in a well-led and inclusive school.

  • SEN Behaviour Support Assistant role at a supportive Secondary school
  • Daily rate between £100-£120 depending on experience
  • Based in South East London, Greenwich
  • Full-time, term-time role starting September 2025

What You'll Be Doing:

  • As a SEN Behaviour Support Assistant you'll be providing 1:1 support for a pupil with Down's Syndrome
  • Assisting with daily routines, engagement, and inclusion
  • Supporting personal care and communication where necessary
  • Working across classrooms supporting behaviour management strategies
  • Running small group and 1:1 behaviour interventions
  • Collaborating with SENCO, pastoral team, and class teachers
  • Maintaining detailed progress notes and feedback
