Job Opportunity: SEN Wraparound Care Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary | 6-Week Summer Placement

Hours: 10am – 3pm

Pay Rate: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Care Assistant to join a specialist SEN provision in Grantham over the summer holidays. This temporary but rewarding role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the progress and wellbeing of children with a variety of special educational needs in a nurturing, wraparound care setting.

About the Role:

As a Summer SEN Wraparound Care Assistant, you will:

- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning and care plans

- Assist with personal care, including support at lunchtime and other routine activities

- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children

- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching and support team to help each child thrive

? What We’re Looking For:

- Has previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)

- Demonstrates strong communication and positive behaviour management skills

- Is passionate, reliable, and committed to making a real impact

- Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)

- Is able to complete or already holds an Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) registered to the Update Service (If not, one can be arranged at the applicant’s cost)
