SEN Finance Coordinator

Service Care Solutions are working alongside a Local Authority in Leicester who are looking for a SEN Finance Coordinator to join their team on a temporary contract. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: SEN Finance Coordinator
Rate: £22.03 to £23.54 per hour (PAYE exc.) / £23.54 to £26.51 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Leicester
Working: Hybrid
Contract: 12 months on going

Role Overview:

• Support all functions within accounts payable
• Expereince within Social Care finance is desirable
• Helping and developing existing members within the team
• Ensure accuracy of the general ledger through regular reconciliations with business systems (e.g., Oracle, Synergy, Mosaic).
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies.
• Manage and protect sensitive information securely; report any breaches in line with information security protocols.
• Maintain accurate digital and paper records; ensure secure communication of financial data.
• Build effective partnerships with service areas, care providers, agencies, and internal teams.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with stakeholders via phone, email, post, and visits.
