Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester (BL9)
Pay: £100 – £115 per day
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: September

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and wants to make a genuine difference in their educational journey.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs.

• Work collaboratively with the class teacher to adapt lesson content and activities to meet individual learning needs.

• Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop their social and emotional skills.

• Assist with the implementation of personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies.

• Liaise with the SENCO, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support for each child.

• A caring and patient individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working in a primary school or SEN setting is desirable but not essential.

• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• A proactive and flexible approach to meeting the needs of pupils.
