Your New Job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team on a full-time, temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential. You will:

• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Work with children with SEMH, behavioural challenges, and additional learning needs
• Deliver targeted interventions and assist with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a primary school or SEMH setting
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
