Job Advert: 1:1 SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant

Location: Arbury

Position: Full-Time, Starting September

About Us: Join our fantastic primary school in Arbury, supported by Reed Education. We are dedicated to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all our students. We are looking to appoint a 1:1 SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil with ASD.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the pupil with classwork set out by the teacher.
• Assist the pupil with their behaviour throughout the day.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to create a plan that enables the pupil to thrive.
• Provide tailored support to meet the pupil's individual needs.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Excellent behavioural management skills.
• Previous experience working with SEN.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
• UK address and right to work.

Salary: £80 - £100 per school day, depending on experience.
