Support Staff Wanted - SEMH Specialist School (Rural Location)
We are currently recruiting for dedicated and resilient support staff to join our specialist SEMH school located in a rural area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with complex needs.
Our pupils have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), and may present with challenging behaviours. We are looking for individuals who are calm, patient, and confident in supporting pupils with high levels of need.
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, autism, or behavioural needs is highly desirable
* Strong communication and de-escalation skills
* Resilience and the ability to manage challenging situations with professionalism
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow school policies and safeguarding procedures
* Must have access to your own vehicle and be able to commute, as there are no public transport links to the school
