Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Pay Rate: £90 – 120 Per Day

Location: Walsall

Start Date: As soon as possible

Hours: 8.30 – 15.30

Duration: 2025/2026 Academic Year

Smart Education are working with a Secondary Academy located in the heart of the Midlands, located just outside of Birmingham, in Walsall. This school are looking to appoint a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join them from as soon as possible for a role working in their SEND resource base that will run through to the end of the academic year 2026 initially.

The role will see the successful SEN TA taking on a 1:1 support role working with pupils who have received a statement. Pupil behaviour can be challenging though their is a hugely supportive staff team that work to provide the best possible environment and experience for these pupils.

The successful applicant will ideally be an experienced SEN TA with Key Stage 3/4experience who is passionate about supporting and working with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are looking to overcome their challenges. This SEN Teaching Assistant role will see you taking on the role for the remainder of the academic year and potentially next academic year and beyond.
