We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Chester on a temporary basis. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

Role Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment tailored to the individual needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Support classroom activities and help manage student behavior.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
• A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education (preferred but not essential).
