Job Description - SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher - Primary School | Ealing

?? Location: Ealing, London
?? Start Date: September 1st, 2025
?? Contract: Full-Time | Permanent
?? Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience) + potential SEN allowance

Are you passionate about inclusive education and making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2025.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs)
  • Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Track pupil progress using formative and summative assessments
  • Collaborate with external agencies and parents to ensure well-rounded support
  • Foster a nurturing, safe classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
  • Proven experience teaching children with SEN, preferably within a primary setting
  • Strong understanding of inclusive practices and adaptive teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, creative, and resilient approach to teaching
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and best SEN practice
