SEN Teacher

• Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (minimum of 4 weeks, may be extended)
• Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated Sixth Form Teacher to join our team, working with children who have global developmental delays. This role is ideal for a compassionate educator who is qualified and experienced in primary, secondary, or special educational needs teaching.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to students with global developmental delays.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants to ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage a classroom of 12 students, ensuring individual attention and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
• Cover additional teaching hours as needed due to staff absences, ensuring continuity in students' education.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in primary, secondary, or special educational needs.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with global developmental delays.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to create and adapt educational materials to suit varied learning needs.
• Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding of students.
