Job Description - SEN Teacher

Location : Nottinghamshire

Pay rate : 160 to 200 per day

"A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced SEN Teacher to join a leading secondary school in Luton, through Randstad Education. We are looking for a dedicated educator with a strong knowledge of inclusive practices and child development."

Requirements:

  • Good Knowledge with the national Key Stage Curriculum.
  • Proficiency in learning techniques suitable for students with SEND.
  • Ability to provide personalised attention and assistance with learning assignments.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant experience in schools with SEN pupils or similar transferable skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • 2 recent proven professional references
  • Flexibility to travel within (location)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate patience, passion, and professionalism.
  • Confidence, punctuality, and eagerness.
  • Experience with 1:1 and small groups.
  • Manage children with challenging behaviour.
  • Effectively manage behaviour and build positive learning relationships with SEN pupils
  • Providing engaging and interactive lessons
