About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students, often working closely with support staff and other professionals. You will play a vital role in helping children overcome barriers to learning, promoting engagement, progress, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons suited to the needs of pupils with SEN.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team.
• Implement EHCP targets and maintain records of pupil progress.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Use creative and therapeutic strategies to encourage student engagement.

The Ideal SEN Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong behavior management and communication skills.
• Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
• A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.
