Essential Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - applicants without QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or fewer than 5 years' experience as an unqualified teacher cannot be considered

• Strong classroom practice, ideally within an SEN setting

• Creativity, patience, and resilience to bring out the best in every child

• A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Your Role Will Include:

• Designing and delivering engaging, tailored lessons to meet diverse SEN needs

• Creating a classroom culture that is safe, inclusive, and celebrates every achievement

• Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies

• Collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support both academic and personal growth

• Monitoring and assessing progress, adapting teaching methods where needed

• Promoting independence, social skills, and confidence in all learners

• Contributing to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

• Leading with compassion while maintaining high expectations for every pupil
