Here at Long-Term Teachers, we are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join a Primary School in the Thornbury area as an SEN Teaching Assistant.

This Primary School is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their school to encourage children to actively be involved in their learning to help them grow and flourish.

The Role

As a successful candidate, you will be expected to be enthusiastic, patient and committed to make a positive impact on young learners.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone who has prior experience working with SEN pupils on a 1 to 1 basis. Someone who is comfortable inside and outside the classroom.

You will be expected to:

• Be flexible and proactive.

• Build strong relationships in a safe environment.

• Be a Team Player and work collaboratively with other staff to ensure pupils are getting the best learning experiences.

• Confident managing challenging behaviour inside the classroom.

• Use your initiative to support within the classroom.
