SEN Teaching Assistant

Romano Education is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Accrington. This role is perfect for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with SEMH needs.

• Provide tailored support for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs

• Assist the teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies

• Support students in their learning and emotional well-being

• Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to develop learning plans

• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN or SEMH setting

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)

• Strong behaviour management skills and a calm approach

• A passion for supporting students with additional needs

• Pay Rate: £15.94 per hour
