Sen Teaching Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Support classroom teachers in managing student behavior and promoting positive social interactions.
• Adapt and modify learning materials to meet the individual needs of students.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Foster a safe and nurturing environment that encourages student engagement and learning.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs.
• Relevant qualifications in education or child development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
