SEN Teaching Assistant – Temp to Perm Opportunity

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? A welcoming and well-regarded SEN school nestled in a picturesque valley setting is currently seeking a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role:

You’ll be supporting students on a one-to-one and small group basis, working closely with class teachers, therapists, and support staff to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. This is a full-time role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For:

? Proven experience supporting children with special educational needs

? A calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour and communication support

? Additional training (e.g., Team Teach, PECS, Makaton, Moving and Handling) is desirable

? A strong team player who is confident working under direction and using initiative

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
