Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Burton-upon-Trent to recruit SEN Teaching Assistants for the September 2025 start.

We are looking for passionate and resilient individuals to join a supportive and nurturing school environment, where you will be instrumental in helping children reach their full potential. The school caters for pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and moderate to severe behavioural challenges.

• Support students on a one-to-one and small group basis

• Assist with the implementation of EHCPs (Education Health and Care Plans)

• Foster positive relationships to support emotional and social development

• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and ADHD

• A calm and empathetic approach to managing behaviour

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A passion for supporting vulnerable young people in education
