You will be joining a wonderful Primary School in the BS20 area of North Somerset as a Teaching Assistant. You will start in September, joining an experienced and enthusiastic team of Teachers and TAs.

This 1 form entry Primary School offers a great opportunity for you to develop and expand your knowledge and skills through training and experience. They are open to passionate candidates who thrive in supporting children with their personal and educational development.

The Role

From September, you will be working on a full-time basis within a Year 4 class as a Teaching Assistant.

In this role, you will be supporting the Class Teacher by setting up activities, encouraging engagement and providing support throughout lessons and interventions.

You will be supporting children in small groups and on a 1 to 1 basis.

You will be expected to:

• Have previous experience of working with children.

• Support children with SEND to allow them to access all learning opportunities.

• Have high expectations of Positive Behaviour Management.

• Communicate clearly with the Class Teacher to show children’s learning and development.

• Create a positive learning environment.

Working with Long-term Teachers:
