Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? Smart Education is proud to be recruiting for a lovely one-form entry primary school based in central Dudley. This school is known for its nurturing environment, dedicated staff, and strong community ethos.

We are seeking a confident and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 pupil on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience working as a SEN TA within a primary school setting, specifically with KS1 pupils. The school have requested only candidates with previous experience working with young people who have autism and challenging behaviour.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (or a relevant subject)
• Must hold a Valid Childs Enhanced DBS certificate
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a school setting and with SEN pupils
• Ability to provide tailored support to meet individual student needs
• Lead and deliver sessions confidentially in and out of the class room
• Clear understanding of Safeguarding surrounding children
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Be able to provide targeted support to pupils across a range of abilities
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
