SEN Teaching Assistant

An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Hillingdon is looking for a caring and committed Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), supporting pupils with Autism and a range of additional needs.

About the Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with Autism (ASC) and complex needs

• Assist the class teacher with daily activities and tailored learning plans

• Support children with social, emotional, and communication development

• Help manage behaviour in a calm, consistent, and supportive manner

• Work closely with the SEN team, external specialists, and parents

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and/or SEMH needs

• Patient, empathetic, and nurturing with a positive, can-do attitude

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive, collaborative team

• Passion for inclusive education and making a meaningful difference
