Tradewind Recruitment is sourcing Teaching Assistants to support children with PMLD Needs in various schools in the Ashford area. These roles can be ad-hoc, temporary, or long-term positions.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families.

• Able to maintain a calm, patient, and adaptable approach in challenging situations.

• Comfortable supporting students with personal care needs, including toileting and feeding.

• Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, and relevant education policies is a plus.

• Willingness to travel to Ashford and commute up to an hour if needed.

• A strong work ethic and a passion for supporting students with special educational needs.

• Must have, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.

• Right to work in the UK.
