Academics, Canterbury are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school in Dover. This school offers a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, providing exceptional support to pupils with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assist with personal care when needed
• Help with learning activities and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Work closely with teaching staff to implement individual learning plans
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to students

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children, ideally within a SEN setting (experience with Autism is highly desirable)
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special educational needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with staff and pupils
• A willingness to learn and grow in the role
• A positive and proactive attitude
