Academics Rochester are proud to be working with fantastic mainstream primary schools in Medway who are seeking several dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams. These roles are available for a September start, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates.

You will be working with primary-aged pupils (ages 4-11) with a range of needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, complex needs, and challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting children aged 4-11 with ASD and complex needs
• Working 1:1 or with small groups to deliver tailored support
• Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities
• Promoting a safe, positive and engaging learning environment
• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families

What We're Looking For:

• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD and complex needs
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to provide personal care when required
• A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives
