SEN Teaching Assistant

£105-110 per day | Full-time | Umbrella pay | DBS required

A lovely two-form entry primary school on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford is looking for an empathetic, proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join full-time from September.

About the school:

• Inclusive ethos and strong links with parents

• Large, green campus with modern classrooms and outdoor learning spaces

• Staff describe the leadership as approachable and solutions-focused

The role:

• Supporting a pupil with additional needs (likely ASD or speech & language delay)

• Helping with learning tasks, communication, and transitions

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo

• Encouraging confidence, independence, and social skills

This would suit:

• Experienced SEN TAs or those with school/childcare experience

• Psychology grads or those working towards educational careers

• Calm, nurturing types who want to make a genuine difference
