About the Role:

• Supporting children and young people with a range of SEND needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
• Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver tailored interventions and support plans.
• Promoting independence, communication, and emotional regulation in a nurturing environment.
• Assisting with personal care or medical needs where required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a specialist or SEND school setting is essential.
• Confident in supporting pupils with additional needs and comfortable with physical and emotional behaviours.
• Calm, patient and resilient with a genuine passion for inclusive education.
• Additional training such as Team Teach, PECS, Makaton or moving and handling is highly desirable.
