Responsibilities:

• Support students with special needs, ensuring their safety and helping them with learning.
• Build trust with all students and communicate in a way they understand.
• Encourage class participation and keep students engaged in lessons.
• Maintain an organised and supportive classroom.
• Help display students' work and plan activities.
• Assist students with tasks using teaching aids.
• Give feedback on students' progress and report any concerns.
• Follow safety and confidentiality rules.
• Accompany children on school trips.

To be considered for this role, the key requirements are as follows:

• Possession of an Enhanced child DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain a new one.
• Eligibility to work in the UK (Essential).
• Previous experience in school settings is preferred.
• Availability of 2 relevant professional references.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of students in a professional and courteous manner.
