Your New Role
As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a variety of additional needs, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges, autism spectrum conditions, and learning difficulties. You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, both in and out of the classroom, helping pupils to engage with learning and develop essential life skills. This role requires patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.

What You'll Need to Succeed
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs (SEN)
A calm and empathetic approach to behaviour management
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Ideally, a relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant certificate or equivalent
