Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and activities.
• Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs.
• Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
• Monitoring and recording student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, specifically with Year 6 students.
• A relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3).
• Strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
