Exciting Opportunity: Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCo to lead our Special Educational Needs provision and make a significant impact on our students' lives.

Your Role:

As our SENCo, you will:

• Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school.
• Create and implement tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
• Deliver training and guidance to staff on SEN best practices.
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of SEN strategies and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with SEN legislation and school policies.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience in a SENCo role or similar position
• In-depth knowledge of SEN legislation and effective practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Passion for promoting an inclusive and supportive educational environment
