Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable learners in creative and outdoor settings? Do you believe in the power of personalised, hands-on education to make a lasting impact?

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner to join a bespoke educational provision that supports children and young people with additional needs. This role focuses on nurturing individual strengths through outdoor learning, creative engagement, and therapeutic approaches that make education meaningful and accessible.

Our approach is truly personalised. Instead of adapting a curriculum, we build provision around each young person, shaped by collaboration with families, key workers, schools, and the learners themselves. It’s all about helping each child reach their potential—encouraging growth, independence, and positive change that lasts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children and young people (including those with SEND), ensuring their safety and access to learning
• Build positive, nurturing relationships as a trusted adult and role model
• Promote inclusion, interaction, and engagement in all activities
• Encourage independence and confidence in learning and exploration
• Prepare and maintain outdoor environments before and after sessions
• Support the presentation and display of learners’ work
• Observe, record, and report on learners’ progress and needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support behaviour management and emotional regulation

Ideal Candidates Will:

• Have experience working with children and young people with SEND or behavioural needs
• Be enthusiastic about outdoor and creative approaches to learning
• Be flexible, resilient, and committed to child-centred practice
• Bring warmth, care, and consistency to every session
