Job Description - SEND Lecturer

We’re currently recruiting for a fantastic full-time SEND Lecturer role based in West Norwood, starting in September 2025 and running until August 2026.

?? Key Details:

Location: West Norwood
Contract: September 2025 – August 2026
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Pay: £200 per day

? Key Requirements:

Recognised teaching qualification
Minimum Level 2 in literacy and numeracy
Proven teaching or relevant industry experience
Experience supporting learners with medical or health needs
Ability to plan and deliver sensory-based lessons
Excellent organisation and communication skills

?? Ideal Candidate Will Also:

Have experience working with learners who have limited communication skills and may display challenging behaviours
Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, fostering a safe, positive learning environment
Be able to evidence progress made toward EHCP outcomes through differentiated support and learner-centred teaching strategies

Please note: This position requires relevant SEND experience and qualifications. Unfortunately, applications that do not meet these criteria cannot be considered.
