Type: 1 Year Contract

Hours: 8.00 – 16.00

Smart Education are working with a Secondary School located in the location of Walsall LEA. This school are looking to appoint an SEND Room Supervisor to join them for the New Academic Year on a 1 year contract. Your duties would include; supervise the SEND room, delegating work to SEND staff and supervising SEND students, do SEND admin related tasks, etc...

This school are a mainstream academy at the heart of the local community, located in an area of disparate income and expectation the school offers a transformative experience for their pupils, and was graded as a ‘Good’ school in their most recent Ofsted. Job Requirements for this SEND Room Supervisor role:

• Experience working with SEND pupils
• Valid Child DBS (Or be willing to get one)
• Patience, empathy and a commitment to serving the pupils you support to the best of your ability
• Clear understanding and commitment to safeguarding
• Ability to offer differentiated teaching as required
• Strong communication and teamwork to work with the rest of the staff team.
