SEND Teaching Assisant

We are seeking a supportive and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a lovely primary school in Barnet. This role is to support a little boy in Year 3 on a 1:1 basis, helping him to engage with learning, develop confidence, and enjoy his time at school.

The role will involve:

• Providing 1:1 classroom support throughout the school day.

• Helping the child access the curriculum and stay engaged in lessons.

• Supporting social skills, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential).

• Be patient, caring, and adaptable.

• Build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• Have a genuine passion for working with children.
