SEND Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers is working with a welcoming and well-resourced SEND primary school in Horley that supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism, medical needs, sensory impairments, and global developmental delay. From September, the school is looking to appoint several dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and want to make a real impact in a setting that is child-centred, therapeutic, and focused on individual progress.

What the school is looking for:

• Enthusiastic and resilient individuals with a genuine interest in supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Experience in a special school, care setting, or mainstream with SEND experience is welcomed but not essential.
• A calm, patient and flexible approach to supporting children who may be non-verbal, use communication aids, or need personal care.
• Team players who are committed to long-term roles and making a difference from day one.
