Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)? Hays Recruitment is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team, supporting primary schools across Bristol from September 2025.

?? The Role:As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEND needs.
• Assist class teachers in creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive atmosphere to help every child thrive.

? What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children with SEND (in school or alternative settings).
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

? Qualifications (Desirable but not essential):

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Relevant training in SEND (e.g., autism awareness, Team Teach).
