Senior Accounts Assistant

Michael Page is working with a highly reputable, award winning business with their recruitment of a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their accountancy team on an ongoing temporary basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key part in ensuring the objectives of the project are executed within a given time frame.

Our client is an award winning business & market leading within their field. Due to an ongoing project, they need additional support within the accountancy function to meet the given deadlines. The offices are located in an easily commutable area of Southampton with plenty of on site parking.

Description

As the Senior Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Raising and processing invoices
• Dealing with complex customer & supplier queries
• Preparing and authorising payment runs
• Bank reconciliations
• Chasing outstanding debt via email
• Reporting transactional finance performance figures to the Financial Controller

Profile

In order to be considered for the Senior Accounts Assistant role, you must have experience in most, if not all, of the above.
